Information
Online Student Course or Lunch FeePayments through eFunds for Schools
- E-Funds for Schoolswill NOT show balances due. Click on $0.00 to enter your payment amount.
- Access your Balance Due in Skyward Family Access under Fee Management.
- Use a desktop version of Skyward with a parent/guardian User ID to see Fees. Fee Management is NOT available in the mobile app.
How to Make a Payment
1. Create an Account inE-Funds for Schools
- Create an account by choosing a user name and password.
- Add a Studentor students using their student ID number(s).
- Add payment method information, either checking account or credit card.
- Once your account is set-up, you can make payments toStudent Course FeesandLunchaccounts.
2. To Pay Student Course Fees
- Go toOptional Fees>HHS Student Course Fees.
- Click on the $0.00 and enter your payment amount.Add to Cart.
- To add a payment for another student, clickGo Back to Studentsand repeat steps.
- Once all payments are added, you canCheck Out.
How to Set Up Preauthorized Payments
- Add a payment to your cart and begin Check Out process.
- Edit payment Frequency to set-up how often the payments will be made.
Transaction Fees
- Payments made from a checking account - $1.00
- Payments using a credit card - $2.25
- The transaction fee is charged once per “check-out.”
Account Postings
- Lunch payments made by midnight should be posted in Skyward the following business day, however, it can take up to 2 business days.
- Student Course Fees payments will be posted in Skyward within a few business days.

It looks like there are duplicate charges on my student’s account
High School schedules are semester-based so fees for a year-long course will be divided in half and shown twice. Fees are paid once yearly.
I thought having laptops meant there wouldn’t be any fees for books
“Student Course Fees” is an umbrella term we use which encompasses all fees associated with each course a student is enrolled in. Courses will carry feesfor textbooks, materials (items provided in class for student use), consumable items (items the students take with them at the end of the year), as well as a rental device if applicable.
Student Course Fees include the following:
- Textbooks - whetherprint materials (checked out by the student), class sets, or digital materials, all forms of books can have fees associated with them.
- Consumable items- these are items that students take with them - novels, workbooks, lab journals, etc.
- Materials Fees- these are items provided in the classroom for student use such as sheet music, art materials, poster board, etc. You would have to contact teachers of each course for a more detailed explanation.
- Rental Device– If you have opted to rent a device from the school, the rental fee will be included as part of the Student Course Fees.
I don’t have my Skyward Family Access log-in information
Skyward Family Access User ID and password information can be obtained from the Guidance Department. Please call 594-4109for assistance, or contact your school's front office.
Can I set-up a payment plan?
Yes, pre-authorized payment plans can be set-up using the eFunds Payment System. Payments can also be made by check or cash at the HSE Bookstore.
Why can’t I see my student’s balance in E-Funds?
eFunds Payment Systems is a third-party payment site and will not show balances due. Student fee balances can be found on Skyward Family Access under theFee Managementtab.
